#basic
That's right. I'm about to get real basic here and break out the pumpkin fall recipes like every other girl living in the United States. True life, I have been obsessed with Fall since I was like five. Oh yah, I liked Fall way before it was cool (says every girl ever). I liked Fall waaaay before Pumpkin spice lattes and LL Bean boots. But in all honesty, I really do like Fall. It was hard for me to come to terms with my obsession since for the majority of life I associated it with back to school. But still deep inside I loved it. Who doesn't love Fall? I mean, it is popular and cliche for a reason!
I've already been exhausting my fall activities as a resident of a Gilmore Girls esque small town in Connecticut. Yes, I live near orchards, yes, I went apple picking, yes, I made an apple pie, yes I picked a pumpkin. And by "picked" I mean literally picked one up from a field of hundreds. I went to the grocery store last week and right on display in front of the store is a pumpkin shrine. Of course, you've got the standards, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins. But his eficacy started getting a bit strange. Pumpkin seltzer...pumpkin hummus. And low and behold featured on that shelf was Pumpkin Dog food. Because God forbid your canine might miss out on the seasonal fun.
Stop and Shop you sold me on the pumpkin puree, but I couldn't help but laugh as I moved on the the next aisle. So it goes without saying, that my Saturday morning activity had to be baking this delicious pumpkin bread, because I guess I am #basic. #ownit.
Side note. I started 1,000 piece puzzle on my place table, which conveniently serves as my photo taking table. Thinking I would finish this a lot sooner, I'm left with having to take photos on puzzle pieces.
