Say crack again. Crack.
Pull-apart breads, cheesy breads, and "crack bread" are most definitely all the rage. I feel partially horrible for calling this recipe of mine "crack bread" because I've never had crack. So how can I relate a bread to the drug? Here is what I can say. This cheesy garlic bread recipe is probably the most amazing thing I have ever tasted. Sources say that crack has a pleasurable effect on the brain. Kids, learn one thing from me. Don't do crack, do garlic bread.
I started making meals for people in need at my church. Now before you think "aww what a kind girl" remember, I live to cook and I live alone. Therefore, this whole serving with food campaign of mine has become a selfish act. I see woman pregnant in church and scope them out. Do they need meals?? My neighbor fell, thinking she broke her ankle, and I am ashamed to admit that I was sad when she learned it was just a minor sprain. Guess she doesn't need meals. One time, I assumed that an elderly women on my street had passed away when I saw an significant amount of cars pull into her driveway. That meatball delivery was one of the more awkward charitable acts of mine. One consistency in my meal delivery has been garlic bread. It's so simple, easy, and established. Who doesn't love garlic bread? Even vegetarians can have it. Throwing in a loaf of this to accompany any meal has become my standard. So far, I've only had immense compliments, no regrets. Sure the garlic will make your breath smell, but who doesn't love a hint of garlic in the breath? The cheese is not the star of this dish, it is the garlic. So finely sprinkle the cheese, but soak the garlic into the butter. One note is that the parsley is a must. People want to know that they are eating greens with their crack bread. Crack often spawns regrets. So I will call this simply, "cheesy garlic bread."
