Today marks the seven year anniversary of me packing my bags and shipping off to London for four months abroad.
Guarantee you didn't feel the need to retaliate to your parents in the same need as I did.
To say this recipe has been requested is a bit of an understatement.
Don't you miss the days when you were under 12 and consumed chicken fingers every time you went out to eat?
Once upon a time, the biggest woe in my life was that my name was not featured in Mambo #5
When chicken is available at Whole Foods for $3.75 you buy it...
I stay away from the meat section of Whole Foods because I get so tempted. Then I look at the prices. I see young people there; I know it occurs, but I don't understand. How do you afford this? Seriously? What kind of jobs do you have? I happened to be strolling around one Saturday when...out of the corner of my eye, I spotted these perfect "air chilled" chicken legs. Boy do I get excited when I see "air chilled." That's a lie. BUT, they were on SALE. And not the Whole Foods kind of "sale" when a pound of shrimp is $35. These were actually $3.75...for the entire package.
I like to grill my chicken legs which means I like to withstand sub freezing temperatures just to get that perfect char. No joke, last year at this time, I took this picture of my grill.
